Performance Marketing Manager (Game Studio)

Position: Performance Marketing Manager for Upcoming Launch (Casual Survival Game)

Location: Levent / Beşiktaş, İstanbul

Work Model: On-site

We’re launching “Children of the Afterworld (COTA) – Island Escape,” a stylized post-apocalyptic survival game for iOS and Android. We need a marketing expert who can lead our user acquisition and retention campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Unity Ads, IronSource, and other relevant networks.
  • Manage the entire user acquisition funnel to drive installs, engagement, and monetization.
  • Develop creative testing strategies and collaborate with the design team on ad creatives and video assets.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and weekly/monthly reports.
  • Continuously test new platforms, channels, and ad formats to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and data teams to align marketing efforts with in-game events, updates, and monetization strategies.
  • Manage budgets effectively to maximize ROI and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activities.

Desired skills and experiences:

  • Experience launching mobile games,
  • Knowledge of TikTok, Reddit, Discord, and Facebook Ads platforms,
  • Strong grasp of CPI (Cost Per Install) and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) metrics,
  • Deep understanding of social trends, gamer behavior, and mobile marketing funnels,
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in using tools like Google Analytics, Adjust, Appsflyer, or similar MMPs,
  • Creative thinker with experience in A/B testing and ad creative optimization,
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment,
  • Indie game marketing experience preferred.
