Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Permit Coordinator to manage the permit application process for our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, submitting, and tracking permit applications to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role requires excellent coordination skills and a solid understanding of permitting processes related to construction, solar, or engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit permit applications to the appropriate jurisdictions (city, county,
state, utility companies).
• Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and project management teams to gather
necessary documents and plans.
• Track the status of all permit applications and follow up regularly with agencies to ensure
timely approval.
• Address comments, corrections, or resubmittals requested by permitting authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of all permits, including expiration dates and compliance
requirements.
• Ensure that all permits are obtained before the start of construction or installation
activities.
• Communicate updates and timelines to relevant stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with local codes, zoning laws, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipal and utility permitting departments.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in construction, engineering,
architecture, or a related field.
• Prior experience with permitting processes, preferably in solar, construction, or utilities.
• Familiarity with building codes, zoning ordinances, and permit submission platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
