Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented bi-lingual Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support attorneys in managing personal injury cases from inception through resolution. Duties

• Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing personal injury cases, including drafting demand packages, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence
• Manage case files efficiently within legal case management systems such as CasePeer, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date
• Review medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents to build strong cases for clients
• Coordinate with medical providers and insurance companies to gather necessary documentation and facilitate communication
• Interview clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to obtain detailed accounts of incidents and injuries
• Maintain meticulous records of case progress, deadlines, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures
• Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism while adhering to court formatting standard
• Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
• Perform data entry tasks related to case details while maintaining confidentiality and data security standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a paralegal specializing in personal injury law or related fields such as workers' compensation law or litigation
• Familiarity with legal case management software such as CasePeer and FileVine, or similar systems
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Attention to detail for document review, proofreading, transcription tasks, and data entry accuracy
• Effective interviewing skills to gather comprehensive client statements and witness testimonies
• Proficiency in document management systems for filing and retrieving case files efficiently
• Strong administrative skills including executive support functions such as calendar management and phone etiquette
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions
