Job Overview

The PGT Social Science teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to senior secondary students, fostering critical thinking, and ensuring strong academic outcomes. The role requires subject expertise, effective classroom management, and alignment with curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Social Science subjects to senior secondary (PGT) students as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments aligned with academic goals.
• Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate academic records and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Encourage analytical thinking, discussion, and real-world application of concepts.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning activities.
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students in academic growth and examination preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
