Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing & Patient Care
  • Accurately dispense prescribed medications.
  • Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Advise on potential side effects, interactions, and storage of drugs.
  • Inventory & Stock Management
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels of medicines.
  • Place orders and coordinate with suppliers/vendors.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and check expiry dates regularly.
  • Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure pharmacy operations comply with legal and medical regulations.
  • Maintain proper records of drug dispensation, narcotics, and controlled substances.
  • Support audits and inspections when required.
  • Quality & Safety
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Report any adverse drug reactions or discrepancies.
  • Implement and follow SOPs for safe pharmacy practices.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
  • Generate pharmacy reports (stock, usage, wastage).
  • Escalate critical shortages or irregularities to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm).
  • Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (hospital/retail pharmacy preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of drug regulations and pharmacy laws.
  • Good communication and counseling skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain records accurately.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,086.00 - ₹25,245.46 per month
