  • Review and interpret physician prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy
  • Prepare, compound, and dispense prescribed medications according to hospital policies and legal requirements
  • Provide clinical advice to physicians, nurses, and patients regarding proper drug usage, dosage, and possible side effects
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic response, potential drug interactions, and adverse reactions
  • Maintain and manage the hospital’s drug inventory, ensuring proper storage and stock control
  • Participate in ward rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., NABH, Drug & Cosmetics Act)
  • Educate patients and staff on safe medication practices and new drug therapies
  • Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and other medications as per legal requirements
  • Stay updated with new drugs, clinical trials, and best pharmacy practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm /Pharm.D) from an accredited institution
  • Valid Pharmacist License/Registration under Punjab Pharmacy Council.
  • Fresher Preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,006.90 - ₹20,000.00 per month
