License: Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration Required ( Tamilnadu Pharmacy Council)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to dispense medications, ensure safe drug usage, provide patient counseling, and maintain pharmacy operations in compliance with legal and healthcare standards. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, patient-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely

Review prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications

Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and precautions

Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of medicines

Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation

Monitor medicine stock levels, expiry dates, and inventory

Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff regarding prescriptions

Follow pharmacy laws, hospital policies, and safety regulations

Handle billing, insurance claims, and pharmacy software (if applicable)

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area

Report adverse drug reactions and medication errors

Provide excellent customer and patient service

Requirements & Qualifications

D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm qualification

Valid Pharmacy Council Registration (State License)

Knowledge of medicines, drug safety, and pharmacy regulations

Basic computer and pharmacy software skills

Good communication and patient-handling skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage workload efficiently

Freshers or experienced candidates welcome

Preferred Skills

Hospital or retail pharmacy experience

Knowledge of billing and inventory systems

Strong attention to detail and ethical practice

Good teamwork and professional attitude
