Qualification

• Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D / M.Pharm)
• Valid Pharmacist Registration / License – REQUIRED
• Recognized Pharmacy Certification – MANDATORY
• Experience in hospital, clinical, or retail pharmacy preferred
• Immediate joining preferred

Registration – Important Note

• Active Pharmacy Council Registration is compulsory
• Candidates without valid registration will not be eligible

Roles & Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and non-prescription medications
• Review prescriptions for correct dosage, interactions, and contraindications
• Provide clear counseling to patients on medication usage, storage, and possible side effects
• Maintain and monitor pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
• Ensure proper storage conditions as per drug safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, sales, and controlled drugs
• Ensure full compliance with pharmacy laws, ethical standards, and internal policies
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff for patient care
• Handle audits, inspections, and documentation requirements
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure safe disposal of expired medicines
• Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and pharmaceutical guidelines
• Support hospital/clinic operations with timely medicine availability

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective patient counseling and communication skills
• Ability to manage inventory and documentation efficiently
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in pharmacy software and basic computer systems
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Ethical and responsible professional conduct
