Job Title: Pharmacy In-Charge

Job Summary

The Pharmacy In-Charge is responsible for managing the overall operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe dispensing of medications, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and effective supervision of pharmacy staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and staff scheduling
• Ensure accurate dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions
• Maintain inventory levels, procurement, storage, and expiry management
• Ensure compliance with Drug Control regulations and hospital policies
• Monitor narcotic and high-risk medication handling
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and vendors
• Maintain pharmacy records, audits, and statutory documentation
• Implement medication safety and quality standards
• Handle patient and departmental queries related to medicines

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm / M.Pharm
• Registered with State Pharmacy Council
• 6–9 years of experience in hospital pharmacy
• Prior experience as Pharmacy In-Charge or Supervisor preferred
• Strong knowledge of drugs and hospital pharmacy operations
• Inventory and vendor management skills
• Leadership and team coordination abilities
• Attention to detail and regulatory compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
