Philippine Chef

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Philippine Chef to prepare authentic Filipino dishes and deliver high-quality dining experiences. The chef will be responsible for menu preparation, food presentation, kitchen hygiene, and maintaining traditional Filipino flavors while ensuring consistency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic Filipino dishes such as adobo, sinigang, kare-kare, pancit, lechon, and other traditional meals.
  • Develop menus and introduce new Filipino recipes.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking schedules.
  • Monitor food inventory and coordinate ingredient purchasing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen assistants or junior cooks if required.
  • Control food costs and minimize wastage.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared on time and according to customer preferences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Philippine/Filipino Chef or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Filipino cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
