For more than 130 years, Sargent & Lundy has been a global leader in engineering and design for the power industry. We’re looking for a skilled communications and marketing professional to lead our photography program and systems and support our branding, marketing, and communications initiatives.
As part of the Corporate Communications team, the Photography Program and Systems Lead uses compelling and innovative photographic tools and techniques to enhance our brand, tell our stories, differentiate us in the marketplace, and celebrate our values, personality, and purpose. As a brand advocate, the Photography Program and Systems Lead uses photography to help define, promote, and implement our brand’s visual identity and tone of voice; educates business development staff, graphic artists, and other internal and external photography stakeholders and users; and manages vendors and tools.
Responsibilities

Work closely with Corporate Communications leadership to implement and manage a well-designed, innovative photography program with a system, guidance, and templates that achieve communication and business objectives.

Collaborate effectively with all stakeholders within the Communications team, corporate groups, and business groups to development of high-quality photographic assets.

Implement and manage a modern photography-management program.

Act as owner of our photography program, systems, tools, and associated asset libraries.

Manage day-to-day relationships with key vendor partners by enforcing corporate procurement standards, developing scopes of work, overseeing works in progress, identifying program key performance indicators, and ensuring programs achieve results and operate at anticipated levels.

Support visual identity guidelines, templates, and tools, and execute development and implementation as needed.

Liaise with the Legal team to ensure copyright/licensing compliance and risk management. This includes the use of images in our daily work, including photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, maps, and renderings.

Collaborate with the Safety team to ensure compliance with safety protocol, proper PPE, and ensure displaying the appropriate site conditions and safety awareness in all imagery.

Advise and educate the team and stakeholders on photographic trends, best practices, and the latest asset-management tools and methods.

Be a brand advocate by providing education and guidance to business development staff, graphic artists, technical editors, and others who develop marketing assets and deliverables.
