Photography & Social Media Specialist - Overnight Summer Camp

Girl Scouts San Diego is hiring a Photography & Social Media Specialist to capture the unforgettable moments of overnight camp in the mountains of Julian, CA!

What You'll Do

• Capture action shots of campers exploring nature, playing games, and trying new activities together.
• Document the priceless moments when campers try new things, spark friendships, and create memories.
• Manage the camp blog so that campers' families can stay up to date while their child embarks on adventures away from home.
• Coordinate camper mail, oversee e-camp software, and manage camper family communications.
• Play a part in the enduring camp magic by supporting other activities around camp and archiving summer content for years to come.

Employment Details

• Dates: June 8 - July 25, 2026
• Pay: $96.00 - $102.00 per day (depending on experience) plus lodging on site & meals

What we're looking for:

• Age 18+ by June 8, 2026.
• Ability to commit to entire camp season: June 8 - July 25, 2026.
• At least 6 months experience with photography; proficiency with editing software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in a youth-focused environment or recreation setting.
• Adaptable to varying outdoor conditions, as well as communal living.
• Current and valid First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
