PHP Developer (Laravel & CodeIgniter)

Location: Lahore - On-site

Experience: 3–5 years

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP (Laravel &

CodeIgniter).

● Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

● Integrate APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways.

● Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to deliver high-quality products.

● Troubleshoot, test, and maintain applications for optimal performance and

functionality.

● Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.

● Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

● Maintain clear documentation for all development processes and solutions.

Requirements:

● 3–5 years of proven work experience as a PHP Developer.

● Strong expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.

● Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.

● Hands-on experience with MySQL / MariaDB and query optimization.

● Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.

● React experience or knowledge will be highly appreciated.

● Git experience is a must (GitHub/GitLab).

● DevOps experience is highly preferable.

● Experience with payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, local

gateways).

● Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

● Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Work Samples Requirement:

Candidates must be able to showcase previous work during the hiring process.

● The showcased applications must be in working condition.

● Code submission will never be required, but the functionality of the code from

the past projects may be reviewed.

● No excuses (e.g., missing credentials, inaccessible projects, etc.) will be accepted.

Nice to Have (Optional):

● Experience with React or any other modern JavaScript framework

● Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

● Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

experience.
