Physics Lab Attendant

Midland College of Health Sciences is looking for a dedicated Physics Lab Attendant to manage and support day-to-day operations of the Physics Laboratory. The selected candidate will play a vital role in assisting faculty and students during practical sessions, ensuring smooth lab functioning, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials before practical classes.
• Assist faculty and students in conducting experiments and demonstrations.
• Ensure all lab equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and stored.
• Maintain records of lab inventory, consumables, and equipment usage.
• Monitor and enforce laboratory safety procedures and cleanliness.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues with instruments and arrange repairs when necessary.
• Support faculty in setting up new experiments and upgrading lab facilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics (mandatory).
• 2–3 years of experience working in a physics or science laboratory.
• Knowledge of laboratory instruments, equipment handling, and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff.
