The Lab Technician will assist the project team with experiments, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards within the lab.
Qualification & Experience:
- DAE in Electronics/ Mechanical / Metallurgy / Materials or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring they remain well-maintained, organized, and clean while adhering to health and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the readiness of laboratory equipment, generating fault reports and following up on repairs or replacements as needed.
- Manage equipment booking schedules for efficient resource utilization and maintain comprehensive records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment by ensuring cleanliness and organization within the lab.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for data logging and record-keeping.
