Materials Engineer / Lab Technician (Construction Industry)

Key Responsibilities
Conduct laboratory testing on construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, soil, and aggregates.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.).

Analyze material properties and provide technical reports.

Monitor and document material performance and test results.

Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for material-related queries.

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.

Ensure quality control and assurance procedures are followed during all phases of construction.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.

5 to 8 years Key Responsibilities

Ensure all testing complies with industry standards (ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.).

Analyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports.

Coordinate with project engineers for quality control requirements.

Maintain lab equipment and ensure timely calibration.

Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures on site.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in construction material testing or QA/QC.

Proficient in lab testing procedures and standards.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
