Planning Engineer

We are a diversified Main Contractor hiring a Planning Engineer

Job Functions:

• Prepare and manage Baseline Programs and Recovery Programs, ensuring client approval and adherence to project execution strategies.
• Develop look-ahead programs and track deliveries to ensure milestones are achievable.
• Create S-Curves and Manpower Histograms to forecast resource needs and check feasibility.
• Draft delay event reports and run impact analyses to update clients promptly.
• Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) submissions using appropriate delay analysis methods.
• Conduct resource planning and forecasting for project activities.
• Compare and analyse earned value against planned values, reporting on Cost Performance Index (CPI) and Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
• Analyse schedule variances and develop remedies for any negative variances.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project reports, including client presentations and management updates.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders to maintain alignment on objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in UAE
