About the Company

The Contract and Planning Engineer will be part of the Owner’s Engineer (OE) team engaged in supervision of the EPC Contractor’s project execution. The Contract and Planning Engineer shall be experienced in Planning, Scheduling, Contract, Budget and Cost Control of large construction projects. The candidate shall be proficient in Primavera Planning and Scheduling software and Contract administration, handling, assessing and resolution of the project claims and variation orders. He shall also monitor the project weekly and monthly progress reported by the Contractor, analyze the delays reported by the Contractor, recovery schedule, etc. The candidate shall also be well versed in review of the milestone progress completion and certification of the milestone progress and payments to the Contractor. He shall be well versed with FIDIC’s Turnkey / EPC Contracts and proficient in MS Office.

About the Role

Reporting Line and Key Relationships: The Contract and Planning Engineer will report to the OE Project Site Manager and work closely with the Client’s Contract/Planning Manager and the rest of the OE team members.

Responsibilities

• The Contract and Planning Engineer shall work full time for this Project and shall not be involved in any other Project or Work Assignment.
• He should have a minimum of thirteen (13) years of overall experience in managing the project planning, contract, cost control of large construction projects with a minimum of 10 years in Thermal and Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Projects.
• His age should not be more than 45 years.
• He shall possess strong leadership qualities and good communication skills.
• Knowledge and experienced in Contract matters, contractual claims, change orders or Amendments, interpretation contractual terms and conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Engineering degree holder (approved by Saudi Council of Engineers)

Required Skills

• Proficient in Primavera Planning and Scheduling software
• Contract administration, handling, assessing and resolution of project claims and variation orders
• Well versed in review of milestone progress completion and certification of milestone progress and payments to the Contractor
• Proficient in MS Office

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Thermal and Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Projects
