Planning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with strong expertise in the steel fabrication industry to support and control project planning activities from project initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using planning tools
• Prepare baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans
• Monitor project progress and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and site teams
• Track fabrication, delivery, and erection activities
• Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions
• Support project management in resource planning and cost control
• Ensure alignment with contract requirements and project milestones

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the steel fabrication industry
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection workflows
• Excellent analytical, coordination, and reporting skills
