Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Assisting in the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules (master and detailed) using planning software like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Progress Tracking: Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly project progress on-site and comparing it against the baseline schedule.
- Reporting: Preparing and issuing progress reports, highlighting potential delays, and identifying critical path activities.
- Coordination: Collaborating with project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors to gather updates and address scheduling issues.
- Problem Solving: Evaluating and proposing improvements to planning processes and suggesting mitigation strategies for potential risks or delays.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of project plans, revisions, and progress reports
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 0-3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or civil construction projects.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
