About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing plant in Lahore. This role is critical in ensuring the plant’s profitability, efficiency, and financial compliance. The Plant Controller will be responsible for budgeting, cost accounting, financial reporting, risk management, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate is a finance leader with a strong grip on cost control, internal audit, and financial planning – capable of working closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead plant budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing cost structures and margins.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with CFO and department heads to drive financial efficiency and governance.
• Oversee internal audit processes and assess control effectiveness.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance teams in cost management.
• Provide insights on financial performance, KPIs, and operational cost drivers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CA, ACCA, CIA, or ICAEW certification preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience, particularly in plant/factory controlling.
• Strong background in cost accounting, internal controls, and risk management.
• Experience in internal audit and operational finance is essential.
• Proficiency in financial systems and analytical tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
