Experience Required:
4–5 years in plant/industrial operations management
(preferably in Textile or Plastics manufacturing)
Key Responsibilities
Plant Operations & Performance

Manage daily plant operations to ensure timely and efficient production.

Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) across production lines.

Monitor KPIs including production efficiency, downtime, and waste management.
-
Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and industry standards.
Team Leadership
-
Oversee production supervisors, maintenance staff, and shift leads.

Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
-
Promote a disciplined and performance-driven culture on the production floor.
Production Planning & Coordination

Align production schedules with planning and supply chain teams.

Ensure raw material availability and proper inventory control.

Conduct RCA for breakdowns, delays, and quality issues.
Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to QHSE standards within the plant.

Conduct regular safety drills, audits, and risk assessments.

Collaborate with QA team to maintain product quality.
Continuous Improvement

Identify gaps and implement Lean Manufacturing practices to improve efficiency.

Lead initiatives focused on automation, cost reduction, and performance optimization.

Drive continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
Reporting & Coordination

Provide daily/weekly performance reports to senior management.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics, maintenance, HR, and finance for smooth operations.

Manage vendors and service providers for equipment and maintenance needs.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.

4–5 years of proven experience in plant or industrial operations management.

Hands-on experience in Textile (e.g., spinning, weaving, dyeing) or Plastics (e.g., injection molding, extrusion, packaging) manufacturing is strongly preferred.

Strong people-management and leadership skills.

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools.

Practical understanding of production planning, equipment maintenance, and plant safety.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred.
