We are seeking a motivated Platform Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for education technology, ensuring our platform is robust, accessible, and user-friendly for learners and instructors alike.

Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:

· LMS Maintenance & Support: Manage, monitor, and upgrade the LMS (e.g., , Canvas, Salesforce, Student Management System, CLIPP or inhouse built Platforms) to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance of the platform.

· Troubleshooting: Act as the technical point of escalation to diagnose and resolve complex user issues, such as login problems, course content access issues, certifications, submissions or SCORM/API failures.

  • Deployments: Work with Development and DevOps Team to setup VMs/Instances for Labs/classes, Code deployments for PHP, Nodejs or java and run dependent Database scripts as necessary.
  • Infrastructure & Security: Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), database performance, and ensure secure data handling, particularly concerning user progress tracking and assessments. Be Part of the migrations of applications, Cloud and Database Services.

· Automation: Utilize scripting (Python, Bash, Go, Groovy) to automate routine tasks, such as user provisioning, course enrolments, or report generation.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, system architecture diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze usage metrics, including learner progress, engagement, and pass/fail rates for management review or bug tracking into JIRA/Confluence or SharePoint.

· Mentoring: Mentor/train junior team members, to ensure team can support day to day tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in a technical role, preferably in a SaaS or education-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLServer, RDS/MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, PHP).
  • Experience with SCORM, xAPI (Experience API), or QTI/LTI standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure and GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/ACS/ECS).
  • Experience in an EdTech environment.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certificated Administrator CompTIA Linux+, or similar.

Pay: Rs350,000.00 - Rs400,000.00 per month
