We are looking for a proactive Application Support Engineer to provide technical and operational support for business-critical applications and banking/transaction systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, supporting deployments, and coordinating with development and external teams.
Key Responsibilities

Provide
Level 1 and Level 2 application support
for production systems.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot application issues.

Perform
SIT/UAT testing
and assist in production deployments.

Maintain and monitor
scheduled jobs and system processes
.

Support
PR and DR environments
for applications.
-
Coordinate with
development teams and external vendors
for issue resolution.
-
Analyze logs and system data to identify root causes of incidents.
-
Execute
SQL queries
for data extraction and reporting.

Provide support for
ATM, POS, mobile banking, and transaction systems
(if applicable).

Assist business users with application-related issues.

Ensure system availability and operational continuity.
Required Skills

SQL and database querying (strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, including advanced query writing for data analysis, troubleshooting is a must)

Understanding of IIS server, application deployment, and configuration management

Experience in supporting deployments on SQL Server and IIS environments
