POS Sales Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our growing team, focused on acquiring merchants for our POS and SoftPOS payment solutions. The ideal candidate will own merchant pipeline across retail, F&B, hospitality, and beyond — turning in-person conversations into closed deals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, acquire, and onboard new merchants for POS and SoftPOS (Tap to Phone) solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through field outreach, in-person meetings, and product demos.
  • Translate POS and SoftPOS capabilities into merchant outcomes — faster acceptance, fewer failed transactions, higher approval rates.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close deals aligned with Dibsy's pricing strategy.
  • Coordinate with onboarding, compliance, and technical teams to ship every merchant live without friction.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with existing POS and SoftPOS merchants.
  • Track all sales activity in CRM. Monitor market trends and competitor offerings. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of sales experience in payments, fintech, POS, or banking in Qatar.
  • Working knowledge of card acquiring, POS terminals, and SoftPOS (Tap to Phone) technology.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong field sales instinct — comfortable opening doors and closing deals in person.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Qatar driving license required.
  • Preferred: prior experience with a Payment Service Provider (PSP) or bank.
