Power house in charge

Rresponsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and assign tasks to electricians and technicians, inspect their work for quality, and provide training.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, generators, turbines, and other power house equipment. This can include routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance.
• Enforce strict safety rules and regulations, ensuring all work complies with federal and local codes and ordinances.
• Plan and coordinate work with project managers, other foremen, and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Read blueprints and schematics, interpret electrical diagrams, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate logs of work activities, employee time, and equipment maintenance records.

Skills:

• Expertise in electrical systems and power generation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and safety regulations.
• A valid electrician license is often required.

Education: DAE Electrical

Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in relevant field
