Position: Power BI Developer

Job Type : Full Time

Timings: 6pm To 3am

Location : Shahrah E Faisal , Karachi (remote/onsite)

We are looking for a qualified Power BI Developer for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role involves creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to help the organization make data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling and Transformation: Design and implement data models within Power BI, leveraging Power Query for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources.
  • Dashboard and Report Development: Build visually appealing, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
  • Data Analysis Expressions (DAX): Develop DAX formulas to create calculated columns and measures and implement custom logic for advanced data analysis.
  • Data Source Integration: Connect and integrate data from diverse sources, including relational databases, cloud platforms, and flat files.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Power BI reports and dashboards to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements, collect feedback, and effectively communicate data insights.
  • Data Governance and Security: Ensure data accuracy, maintain security, and comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, enhancements, and related technologies.

 Required Skills:

  • Power BI Desktop, Power Query, Power BI Service: In-depth knowledge of these Power BI components.
  • DAX: Strong ability to write DAX formulas for complex calculations.
  • SQL: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Data Modeling: Experience with designing and implementing data models.
  • Data Visualization: Strong skills in creating effective and visually appealing data visualizations.
  • Data Integration: Experience with connecting to and integrating data from various sources.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively.
