Trainee Data Analyst

Role Overview:

The Trainee Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. The role supports data-driven decision-making by delivering interactive reports and dashboards on a timely basis. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, reporting requirements, and key data points, while also contributing to the automation of data collection and consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and validate datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, gaps, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports for regular business reviews.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Automate repetitive data collection and reporting processes using tools such as Power Automate.
  • Present findings and insights during bi-weekly meetings, highlighting areas requiring attention.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced level).
  • Working knowledge of Power BI (Intermediate level) for data visualization and reporting.
  • Experience with Power Automate for process automation.
  • Functional knowledge of databases such as SQL, MySQL, and understanding of APIs/microservices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.

Work Schedule Timings:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7PM to 3AM (transport facility provided for female staff only and allowance for male employees, additional night shift allowance)
