Powerhouse Inchrage Operations (Hub)

Gatron (Industries) Limited, one of the leading manufacturing companies operating in Pakistan. We are looking for a Powerhouse Operation Incharge to join our team in the manufacturing sector located in HUB Chowki.

The position is responsible to plan and coordinate operations of all equipment installed in the Powerhouse. The incumbent is required to ensure all operational, administrative and compliance functions within the section are being executed in accordance with the regulatory-based best practices. Furthermore, the position has to identify trends and assess opportunities to improve operational processes and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Visit the designated plants and make sure that all equipment is operating normally. Moreover, observe for leakages, abnormal sounds, smell etc. and revie the abnormality report.
• Conduct meetings with the staff and management of operations department to understand the status and discuss routine operations/abnormalities.
• Coordinate with the respective sections for the solution of daily abnormalities.
• Plan for next shifts and for the improvements of day-to-day affairs for cost effectiveness. Maintain the instruction register and log sheets, if required.
• Review all preventive pending jobs and their upcoming preventive schedules. Furthermore, maintain material resources (fuel and lubricants) required for smooth operations.
• Discuss and evaluate the reasons for breakdown. Test and conduct trial run of new equipment and machinery,
• Obtain feedback from the Engineers about the performance of workers. Moreover, review and control the workers’ and staff’s overtime.
• Review monthly departmental fuel and energy report. Furthermore, review monthly SSGC gas bill and its report.
• Give inputs on departmental SOP's, Work Instructions and JD'S. Moreover, maintain the quality objectives and study them to minimize the operational problems.
• Attend steering committee meetings and mandatory refresher trainings from HSE. Assure, HSE protocols are being followed for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Request for the maintenance of PM Master Data, validate it and inform the Master Data Steward accordingly.
• Maintain all technical details and create a maintenance order if detailed planning or spares are required.
• Develop plans for the utilization of materials, labor, and services. Decide for material / services procurement.

Requirements:

Qualification: BE Mechanical / Energy / Chemical or relevant field.

Experience: Minimum 07-10 years of relevant industry experience.
