A leading textile group located near Sunder Industrial Estate, Lahore, recognized for its excellence in garment manufacturing, is seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team as Manager PPC.

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Production Planning & Control (PPC) function, ensuring optimal utilization of resources, timely order execution, and alignment of production schedules with business objectives and customer delivery timeline

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the master production plan from fabric cutting to final packing, ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Plan and allocate capacity (MRP & CRP) across production units based on confirmed and forecasted orders.
  • Monitor daily production progress and ensure alignment with delivery schedules and efficiency targets.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Quality departments to maintain seamless workflow and address any production constraints.
  • Analyze order booking trends, production bottlenecks, and material availability to proactively adjust plans and maintain efficiency.
  • Review and validate production reports, ensuring accuracy of planning data and system updates.
  • Lead the planning team in executing short-term and long-term production schedules based on business priorities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly capacity utilization, efficiency, and order tracking reports for senior management.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.
  • Ensure effective use of ERP/MRP systems and maintain data integrity across all planning functions.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, MBA or related field.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control within the apparel or textile industry, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and production flow (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MRP tools, and MS Excel.
  • Sound understanding of lead time management, WIP control, and capacity analysis.
