1. Curriculum & Instructional Leadership
- Curriculum Management: Oversee the implementation and adaptation of the Pre-Primary curriculum (e.g., Montessori, EYFS, or Single National Curriculum).
- Lesson Planning: Review and approve weekly/monthly lesson plans, ensuring they incorporate play-based learning and inquiry-led activities.
- Resource Development: Supervise the creation of teaching aids, phonics materials, and activity-based learning kits.
- Innovation: Integrate modern pedagogical trends, such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) for early years.
2. Teacher Supervision & Development
- Classroom Observations: Conduct regular, documented classroom walkthroughs and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Professional Development: Identify training gaps and organize workshops on classroom management, early childhood psychology, and phonics instruction.
- Recruitment: Assist in interviewing and onboarding qualified Pre-Primary educators and assistant teachers.
3. Student Progress & Assessment
- Assessment Framework: Design and manage non-formal assessment methods (portfolios, checklists, and observation reports) to track developmental milestones.
- Student Support: Identify students with learning delays or behavioral challenges and collaborate with parents/specialists for early intervention.
4. Parent Engagement & Communication
- Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs): Lead PTMs and orientations to communicate the school’s academic philosophy and individual student progress.
- Community Building: Address parent concerns professionally and maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.
5. Operational Management
- Event Coordination: Lead the planning of Pre-Primary events such as Annual Days, Sports Galas, and themed activity weeks.
- Compliance: Ensure the early years environment meets safety, hygiene, and aesthetic standards
