Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
• Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning atmosphere
• Monitor children’s progress and communicate developmental milestones to parents regularly
• Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play to ensure consistency and comfort
• Support classroom management by encouraging good behavior and conflict resolution among children
• Organize educational materials and resources to enhance lesson plans and activities

Requirements

• Strong ability to develop and follow meal plans
• Prior experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development principles
• Excellent meal preparation, portion control and communication skills to engage effectively work with leadership and team members
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and needs
• Enthusiastic attitude with a proactive approach to fostering a positive learning experience
• Certification in early childhood education is mandatory (We can work with you to complete the 30 STARS process)
• Must be patient, energetic, organized, and committed to nurturing young learners
