Presales Engineer – IT & ELV Projects

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dynamic Presales Engineer specializing in IT and ELV projects. The role involves overseeing the sales and marketing of IT and ELV products & services, with a focus on acquiring new projects and AMC contracts.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in business development and the sales process, working closely with the company director to identify, qualify, and cultivate new clients.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional who plays a key role in business development and sales, working independently to achieve targets while leveraging strategic sales planning, strong communication, presentation, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and identify technical solutions for IT infrastructure and ELV systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, specifications, BOQs, and quotations based on customer needs.
  • Assist in creating technical documentation, data analysis, and project reports.
  • Monitor tickets, project progress, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Review tender/job documents, specifications, drawings, and scope of work
  • Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, and system designs
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and project

Required Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of IT Infrastructure and ELV systems ( switches, unified communications, CCTV, access control, PA/BGM, home automation, SMATV/IPTV, intrusion alarm, intercom/video door phone, gate barriers)

Ability to prepare accurate BOQs, cost estimates, and proposals

Analyze customer requirements and develop technical BOQs

Communication & Interpersonal Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and leadership skills

Continuous Learning

  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
  • Willingness to improve skills and knowledge continuously

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical presales engineering
  • Experience in full solution sales, project rollout.
