Job Summary

Falcon Group is seeking a Sales Engineer with proven experience in the rotating equipment industry to support business growth for its Hydrodynamic Bearings & Accessories division.

This is a sales-focused role, responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and converting opportunities related to bearings used in pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, and other rotating equipment. Internal engineering and estimation teams will support costing and technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and grow business for hydrodynamic bearings and accessories used in rotating equipment
  • Identify and engage with OEMs, EPCs, maintenance contractors, and end users
  • Build strong relationships with rotating equipment service providers and industrial clients
  • Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives

Customer & Opportunity Management

  • Receive and understand customer RFQs related to bearing supply and refurbishment
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and estimation teams for quotations and proposals
  • Follow up on submitted offers and drive closure of orders
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer records
  • Support customers during urgent requirements, breakdowns, and shutdown-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in:
  • Sales or business development within the rotating equipment industry
  • Bearings, pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, or related equipment
  • Strong exposure to industrial B2B sales environments

Required Industry Experience (Mandatory)

Candidates must have worked in one or more of the following:

  • Rotating equipment OEMs or service companies
  • Bearing manufacturers or refurbishment service providers
  • Pump, compressor, turbine, or generator service organizations
  • Oil & gas, power, petrochemical, or heavy industrial maintenance sectors

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to understand bearing applications within rotating equipment systems
  • Customer-centric mindset with relationship-building capability
  • Experience handling RFQs, proposals, and commercial negotiations
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and commercially focused

Language Requirements

  • English – Mandatory
  • Hindi – Preferred
  • Arabic – Advantage
