Preschool Director

At Small Strides we believe that every child deserves a strong foundation for lifelong learning. As the Preschool Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of our young learners and creating a nurturing environment where teachers and children can thrive.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.

- Oversee and implement a comprehensive curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of passionate educators, providing ongoing support and professional development opportunities.

- Foster strong relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and collaboration in their child's educational journey.

- Maintain compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements, ensuring a high standard of quality and safety.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to meet the State of Nevada licensing requirements for a Preschool Director. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a preschool or early childhood education setting.

- Prior experience managing a team of 25-40 employees.

- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
