Pricing Executive

Role Purpose

The Pricing Executive will play a crucial role in analysing market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive intelligence to support our business growth objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of freight forwarding operations and pricing dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to develop pricing strategies.
  • Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure pricing proposals are accurate and aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct regular pricing reviews and adjustments based on market changes and business needs.
  • Prepare and present pricing proposals to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Monitor pricing performance and profitability metrics; identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Maintain pricing databases and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in pricing processes.
  • Collaborate with global teams to standardize pricing practices and ensure consistency across regions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and market dynamics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in pricing or revenue management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics operations is preferred.
  • Experience with pricing software and systems is an advantage.

  • Familiar with CRM systems

  • Achieve set turnaround times.
  • Revenue generated.
  • Customers follow up on quotes for closure.
