Role Purpose
The Pricing Executive will play a crucial role in analysing market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive intelligence to support our business growth objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of freight forwarding operations and pricing dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive landscape to develop pricing strategies.
- Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure pricing proposals are accurate and aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct regular pricing reviews and adjustments based on market changes and business needs.
- Prepare and present pricing proposals to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Monitor pricing performance and profitability metrics; identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Maintain pricing databases and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in pricing processes.
- Collaborate with global teams to standardize pricing practices and ensure consistency across regions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and market dynamics.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in pricing or revenue management within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics operations is preferred.
- Experience with pricing software and systems is an advantage.
