The Egypt Education Platform, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Primary Teacher for Key Stage 2 (KS2) for the Academic Year 2026-2027 at GEMS British International school of Madinaty. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education in alignment with the British Curriculum, fostering both academic and personal growth among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a broad and balanced teaching program tailored to the KS2 curriculum standards.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and encourage the development of all children.
  • Regularly assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Engage with parents and stakeholders effectively to foster positive relationships and encourage community involvement in the educational process.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and collaborative curriculum planning with colleagues.
  • Adhere strictly to school policies, including those relating to safeguarding and student welfare, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for every student.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent professional teaching certification.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching in a primary education setting, specifically within Key Stage 2 and preferably within a British curriculum environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Strong organization and classroom management abilities.
  • Proficient in using a variety of teaching methods and technologies to engage and inspire learners.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to relocate to Cairo, Egypt.
