Principal Engineer

Location: Rakh Canal Plant, Faisalabad

As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for sustained safe plant operations (zero LTI) and ensuring seamless execution of the Maintenance Philosophy, EHS, and Supply Chain excellence. You will be measuring plant performance, ensuring proactive maintenance, driving supply chain excellence, maintaining standards compliance, and overseeing seamless project execution.

This role reports to the Production Manager, RCP with oversees a team of shift engineers

What you will do:

• Maintenance & Reliability – Ensure planning and execution of preventive and routine maintenance. Coordinate with Maintenance Engineer on process-related maintenance jobs and to promote proactive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Continuous Improvement & Projects –Identify and implement plant and process improvement opportunities. Support CI initiatives and assigned projects with safe execution
• Quality, IMS & Compliance – Ensure completion of NCIRs and corrective/preventive actions. Arrange IMS theoretical and on-the-job training to ensure compliance and employee involvement in IMS.
• Safety & EHS – Ensure compliance with Safety Manual and Emergency Action Plans. Promote a strong safety culture with zero LTI objective and implement any preventive actions resulting from inspections and investigations.
• Performance Monitoring & Communication – Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with MCRS tools, communication management guideliness and encourage accountability and engagement.
• Supply Chain & Warehouse Coordination – Proactive coordination with teams to manage raw material & finished goods. Monitor raw material consumption and control within budget.
• Operations & Production Support – Facilitate production manager in daily operational activities by providing technical assistance to production and maintenance teams. Actively participate in daily production review meetings and facilitate in weekly problem-solving meetings for operational risks and performance issues.

What you will bring:

• B.Sc. in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ experience of production / plant operations
• Hands-on knowledge of utilities operations and maintenance

Who you are:

• Problem solver with strong communication skills, with ability to take decisions, create accountability & lead people by example
• Strong in digital tools and computer systems like SAP with expertise across basic modules.
• Familiar with industry standard equipment and protocols for safety, supply chain, inventory, performance measurement, people and process management.
