Principal Engineer

As Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for sustained safe plant operations (zero LTI) and ensuring seamless execution of the Maintenance Philosophy, EHS, and Supply Chain excellence. You will be measuring plant performance, ensuring proactive maintenance, driving supply chain excellence, maintaining standards compliance, and overseeing seamless project execution.

What Will You Do

• Operations & Production Support - Support the Production Manager in daily operational activities by providing technical assistance to production and maintenance teams. Participating in daily production review meetings and close action items also facilitate in weekly problem-solving meetings for operational risks and performance issues.
• Maintenance & Reliability - Ensure planning and execution of preventive and routine maintenance. Coordinate with Maintenance Engineer on process-related maintenance jobs and to promote proactive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Continuous Improvement & Projects - Identify and implement plant and process improvement opportunities. Support CI initiatives and assigned projects with safe execution
• Quality, IMS & Compliance - Ensure completion of NCIRs and corrective/preventive actions. Arrange IMS theoretical and on-the-job training and ensure compliance and employee involvement in IMS.
• Safety & EHS - Ensure compliance with Safety Manual and Emergency Action Plans. Implement preventive actions from inspections and investigations and promote strong safety culture with zero LTI objectives.
• Supply Chain & Warehouse Coordination - Monitor raw material consumption and control within budget. Coordinate with Warehouse for RM and FG management.
• Performance Monitoring & Communication - Monitor KPIs and compliance with MCRS tools, communication management instructions and feedback also encourage accountability and engagement.
• Troubleshoot - To take preventive measures to avoid accidents in the light of accident/safety inspection reports, actions agreed in monthly safety committee/sub-committee meetings and training sessions. To ensure implementation of Company’s Safety Manual/Emergency Action Plan and to ensure the consultation and participation of subordinates in IMS and other matters concerned.
  
  

What Will You Bring

• Bachelors in Chemical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 10 years' experience in plant operations or production
• In-depth knowledge of utilities operations and maintenance

• Proficient in computer systems, digital tools and SAP systems with strong expertise across basic modules
• Familiar with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Strong in decision making and problem solving skills with ability to create accountability & lead by example
