Job Purpose:
This is a critical role in the OPEX Team at the site and will be part of Site extended Leadership team reporting into the Senior Manager Operational Excellence. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, embedding a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance site performance, compliance, and competitiveness. The position combines data-driven decision-making with cross-functional leadership to influence business outcomes, shape organizational culture, and ensure alignment with global and regional priorities.
The Process Engineering Manager will aid in the implementation the HAPS (Haleon Performance System) principles/tools at the site to deliver the Business Strategy, improve Business Performance (Safety, Quality, Service, & Cost), by using a data-driven approach. This role will also play a key role in Project Management of Performance, Savings & Productivity initiatives that align with the Site & Regional goals and develop governance frameworks to help team implement those new way of working in a consistent & sustainable manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- 
Actively contribute to the development and execution of the site’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- 
Serve as a trusted advisor to the cross-functional Leadership Team on operational, financial, and lean-related matters.
- 
Lead cross-functional initiatives to drive process improvements, cost optimization, and innovation.
- 
Identify and lead improvement initiatives by leveraging data and insights from KPI monitoring and tracking.
- 
Devise and oversee the roadmap for deployment of new frameworks under the Haleon Performance System (HAPS) activation, in line with Regional and Global timelines.
- 
Effectively deploy new systems and F4G projects using advanced project management techniques from planning through to closure.
- 
Develop governance frameworks for HAPS phases and other key projects to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and sustained performance of Daily Management Systems and tools.
- 
Create and execute comprehensive communication and visualization strategies to engage stakeholders and drive adoption of new ways of working.
- 
Facilitate workshops and focused sessions to embed a culture of continuous improvement and enable cross-functional brainstorming.
- 
Provide platforms for seamless collaboration between stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange.
- 
Improve KPIs through innovative, user-friendly tools and initiate subsequent actions and remediation plans.
- 
Define and oversee actions based on KPI analysis, facilitating Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as the key member of Site`s Problem-Solving pillar.
- 
Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing proactive measures to safeguard business continuity.
- 
Mentor and develop high-potential talent, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
- 
Shape workplace culture through leadership behaviours, communication, and values alignment.
-

Skills and Competencies:
- Engineering degree
- 
5-10 years of experience in FMCG or pharmaceutical environment
- 
OPEX SME - The candidate must have experience in Operational Excellence Systems execution, such as Lean or Six Sigma project management
- 
Business Partner/Interpersonal – The Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and networking skills to enable effective and influential internal communication, from hourly to Functional Director level
- 
Data & Analytics: MS Office 365, Power BI/Tableau, SAP
- 
Agility: Capable of working on multiple projects at one time
- 
Communication: Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
- 
People management experience is a must
