We are a top, local law firm in the mortgage industry seeking to hire a processor or paralegal to advance their career.

CANDIDATES

This opportunity may be a good fit for someone who has recently graduated and is ready to launch a professional career. It may also be apt for someone who is interested in law, the mortgage or real estate finance industry, or who is looking for professional experience. Some experience with foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, or mortgages may be helpful, however we also strongly encourage entry level, clerical, and even past service industry candidates to apply.

THE ROLE

The position may include tasks such as:

• Review and analyze documents and other sources
• Update the firm’s system of record with information
• Draft or merge documents from internal system, and prepare document packages for attorney review
• File documents with a court and/or county, or mail documents according to procedures
• Professionally and effectively communicate updates to clients regarding status of legal actions
• Participate as an active team member in meetings and bring issues and potential solutions to management's attention
• Occasionally learn new tasks to assist other teammates and departments with their work to meet overall company goals and client requirements
