Procurement Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support our Procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating materials and services required for interior design and fit-out projects. The candidate must have proven experience in the UAE market, vendor management, and excellent knowledge of fit-out materials. Strong proficiency in MS Office is essential, while experience in QuickBooks is considered a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, furniture, finishes, and services for fit-out and interior projects.
  • Prepare purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of suppliers, price lists, contracts, and procurement documentation.
  • Coordinate with the design, site, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of required items.
  • Follow up with suppliers and subcontractors on order status, delivery schedules, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations.
  • Support vendor evaluation, selection, and relationship management.
  • Generate procurement reports and submit them to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the UAE, preferably in the interior design/fit-out industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE supplier market and materials (furniture, joinery, finishes, MEP items).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a big plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
