Procurement Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Management:

Creating, managing, and tracking purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Vendor Communication:

Liaising with vendors to confirm delivery schedules, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.

  • Order Tracking:

Monitoring the progress of orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of goods and services.

  • Record Keeping:

Maintaining accurate records of purchases, vendor communications, and other relevant procurement documentation.

  • Collaboration:

Working with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations) to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Supplier Evaluation:

Assisting in the evaluation of vendor performance, providing feedback, and contributing to vendor relationship management.

  • Inventory Management:

Monitoring inventory levels, assisting with stock counts, and coordinating the replenishment of supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Organizational and Time-Management Skills:

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent Communication Skills:

Proficiency in written and verbal communication for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Procurement Software:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and procurement software for managing records and tasks.

  • Attention to Detail:

Accuracy in processing orders, maintaining records, and communicating information.

  • Teamwork and Collaboration:

Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other departments.

  • Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and contribute to process improvement.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to identify and resolve issues related to procurement and vendor relationships.

  • Bachelor's Degree:

A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field may be required, depending on the employer.

  • Experience: 1-2 years in Home country or GCC

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
