Procurement & Commercial Coordination Manager

We are seeking a commercially driven professional to manage the procurement and supplier coordination aspects of large-scale projects. This role sits at the intersection of equipment suppliers, Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), and internal stakeholders, ensuring that procurement strategies align with project timelines, financing structures, and commercial objectives.

This is a non-technical role focused on commercial negotiations, supplier engagement, documentation coordination, and stakeholder alignment, rather than engineering or technical design.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supplier Engagement

  • Lead the commercial procurement process for project equipment, coordinating with global equipment suppliers and OEMs.
  • Act as the primary commercial interface between equipment suppliers and internal teams during the procurement phase.
  • Manage RFQs, commercial evaluations, supplier comparisons, and recommendation notes in alignment with project and financing requirements.

ECA & Financing Coordination

  • Serve as the key point of contact between Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and equipment suppliers.
  • Coordinate required documentation, supplier disclosures, pricing structures, and compliance information needed for ECA-backed financing.
  • Support alignment between supplier commercial terms and ECA eligibility criteria.

Commercial Negotiation & Alignment

  • Assist in negotiating commercial terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment milestones, delivery timelines, warranties, and commercial conditions.
  • Ensure supplier proposals are structured to support financing, risk allocation, and project bankability.

Marketing & Relationship Management

  • Proactively engage with suppliers, ECAs, and partners to position the company as a preferred counterparty.
  • Build and maintain long-term commercial relationships with key equipment suppliers and financing stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying suitable suppliers aligned with project strategy and funding structures.

Internal Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with internal strategy, finance, and project teams to ensure procurement activities align with overall project objectives.
  • Prepare commercial summaries, procurement status reports, and coordination notes for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Track procurement timelines and flag risks related to supplier commitments or documentation delays.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong commercial, procurement, or business development background in infrastructure, energy, industrial projects, or capital equipment.
  • Experience coordinating with equipment suppliers, OEMs, or international vendors.
  • Prior exposure to ECAs, project financing, or structured finance environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Comfortable acting as a conduit between technical, financial, and commercial stakeholders without being a technical expert.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders across geographies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
