Job Purpose
The Procurement & Contracting Manager is responsible for driving enterprise-wide procurement governance, strategic sourcing, and end-to-end contract lifecycle management. The role ensures value-driven commercial outcomes, robust supplier partnerships, and full compliance with EDO procurement policies, contracting standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical frameworks.
This position leads high-value procurement activities, optimizes procurement processes, mitigates commercial risks, and supports all business units in achieving operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle. Lead procurement activities to achieve optimal pricing, terms, and supplier relationships while maintaining quality and compliance.

Work closely with internal departments to align Annual Procurement Plan and procurement activities with organizational goals.

Oversee category strategies, sourcing plans and procurement policies.

Implement strategies to enhance sustainability and local content in procurement practices with corporate, operational and financial goals.

Ensure full compliance with corporate governance, financial delegations, internal controls and audit requirements.

Maintain procurement transparency, ethical supplier engagement and zero-tolerance compliance standards.

Lead corporate contracting frameworks, including contract templates, terms & conditions, risk allocation models, and commercial structures.

Direct the tendering and negotiation process for major corporate contracts and strategic suppliers.

Ensure the application of end-to-end total cost of ownership (TCO), commercial risk analysis and value optimization.

Leverage market intelligence, supplier consolidation, and economies of scale across business units.

Drive innovation, cost efficiency and long-term value creation.

Establish and manage enterprise-level supplier performance programs.

Lead strategic supplier segmentation, quarterly business reviews and continuous performance improvement.

Oversee dispute resolution, compliance monitoring and contract KPI tracking.

Drive culture, ethics, integrity and cross-functional alignment.

Responsible for corporate procurement, strategic contract management, supplier governance and procurement policy enforcement across all departments.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management

Experience
-
Minimum 10 years in Procurement & Contracting within energy and large corporate environments.

Strong experience in corporate contracting, category strategy development, commercial negotiation and supplier management.

Minimum 5 years in leadership roles.
