Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. Our company specializes in delivering high-end residential villas, F&B facilities, boutique retail spaces, and commercial interiors across the UAE. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, services, and subcontractors that meet the exacting standards of our premium projects.

• Supplier Evaluation & Management
• Identify, assess, and onboard qualified vendors and subcontractors aligned with project specifications and timelines
• Conduct regular performance reviews and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability

• Procurement Strategy & Execution
• Develop procurement plans based on project schedules and budgets
• Source materials and finishes specific to luxury residential and commercial interiors, ensuring compliance with design intent and technical requirements
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to optimize cost-efficiency without compromising quality

• RFQ & Tendering Process
• Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and tender documents
• Analyze bids and proposals, ensuring technical and commercial compliance
• Coordinate with design and project teams to finalize procurement decisions

• Purchase Order & Documentation Control
• Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project needs
• Maintain procurement logs, delivery schedules, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes

• Cross-Functional Coordination
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to align procurement activities with construction milestones
• Resolve supply chain issues proactively to avoid project delays

• Market Intelligence & Cost Analysis
• Stay updated on market trends, material innovations, and pricing fluctuations within the UAE construction and fit-out sector
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to support budgeting and cost control efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in construction or interior fit-out projects in UAE
• Strong knowledge of UAE market, local suppliers, and import regulations
• Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
