Procurement Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to manage procurement activities for engineering and construction projects in Qatar. The role involves sourcing materials and services while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end procurement processes for projects
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate offers, and issue purchase orders
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Coordinate with project and engineering teams to meet timelines
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and company policies
• Maintain procurement documentation and supplier records
• Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement within construction/MEP projects
• Strong knowledge of local and international suppliers
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
