Procurement Engineer (Construction & Fit-Out)

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in the UAE market, particularly in construction and fit-out projects, including ceilings, partitions, joinery, MEP, and interior finishing works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full procurement cycle for construction and fit-out projects
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors within the UAE market
• Handle procurement of materials related to civil works, ceilings (gypsum, acoustic), partitions (drywall, glass), joinery, MEP, and finishing works
• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
• Coordinate with project, estimation, and engineering teams for material requirements
• Ensure timely delivery of materials in line with project schedules
• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier database
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and procurement risks
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of procurement experience in the UAE
• Proven experience in construction and fit-out companies
• Strong knowledge of civil materials, gypsum works, glass partitions, ceilings, joinery, MEP, and finishing materials
• Excellent negotiation and cost control skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
• Immediate or short notice availability is preferred
• Driving Licences - UAE
