Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers locally and internationally.
- Develop and maintain a reliable supplier database.
- Request, compare, and analyze quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Procurement Operations
- Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services within budget.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Cost & Quality Control
- Ensure procurement meets quality standards and company policies.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve product or service issues.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
- Prepare procurement status reports for management.
- Keep track of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge: Understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and market research.
