Procurement Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services in line with project specifications and timelines.
  • Review BOQs, drawings, and project specifications to determine material requirements.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely placement of purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the project team, site engineers, and quantity surveyors to understand and fulfill procurement needs.
  • Maintain and update the approved supplier/vendor list, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic evaluations to ensure service level compliance.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to track shipment status and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records in compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.
  • Assist in budget planning and cost control by identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and UAE/local regulations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry (main contractor or subcontractor background preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, MEP items, and vendor networks in the region.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
